Courses & Results from Taping
Ingrid - I have a patient who had a taxi accident and was thrown out of the taxi onto the road. He had a degloving injury of his feet bilaterally and his left hand. He has scar tissue over his thighs bilaterally and his left forearm as these were the donor sites for the skin grafts and flaps. He has done so well with the kinesiotaping to treat the scar tissue even the hard tissue on the soles of his feet has responded dramatically. If you are coming past to drop off the tape and you have a moment, please let me know and you can come and see his results, he is the security guard in our building. I wish I had taken photos before his treatment! Terry Feb 2009.

What they have to say after our Kinesiotaping Evening
Thank you so much for organizing the evening ,Ingrid. I found it to be hugely beneficial.
I have to tell you what happened today, though. My husband works from home too and we share a PA. Her name is Lynette. She is a fit strong ex dancer and serious gym goer. 17 years ago she fell off a ladder and from what I gather she sustained an avulsion # of her right head of humerus. She had pins and wires inserted and the end result is a shoulder that has really limited movement. She was unable to flex fully, no hand behind back and external rotation was severely limited. Over the past five years, I have been telling her that her SIJ pain and her uneven pelvis and all the lower limb problems on the Left are related to her shoulder injury but I thought it too late to address the shoulder issues. Today she was complaining of foot pain and after deciding it was probably a Morton's Neuroma I taped the foot. Then I had a flashback to last night and thought I had to assess from Linder 1. Wrights test was so positive on the right. She could barely abduct the arm and she had no ext rot and no ext. I thought give it a try you never know..... I strapped biceps brachii and the result was an emotional one. She could instantly move the arm completely ( Wrights was almost equal on both sides) and into any position she wanted including hand behind back for the first time in 17 years! We both packed up crying!!! She called her husband and made me explain what I had done. I spoke to her earlier this evening and her words were that they were all 'gob smacked'.This is truly magic. I will keep you informed of the progress. Thanks once again, Love,Simone
Hi,I enjoyed the talk and demonstration last night about the kinesio tape and would like to know when the next courses are and the costs. Thanks, Gary
Thank YOU. I really enjoyed just a revisit of the tests etc. Would love to come the next time, and could perhaps bring a patient Julia
Hi Ingrid & David Hope you are both well. Thank you for a great evening last week, it really helped refresh my brain after these holidays & am looking forward to using KTT much more!! Already have- with great results.Kind regards Liora
dear ingrid and david, just have to tell you that i love love love this tape !!!! it is giving me such joy!!!! Last week i had a patient ...old patient of mine....swimming the midmar this weekend, who was racing last weekend. He came to me, not because his back was as bad as normal...but because he was just niggling after about 500m into the swim.
So I did the protocol and started to tape him up. He phoned on Monday...euphoric. he had anticipated swimming a 45 min race...and finished in 37 mins !!!!!!
His wife told me that she thanked God he got out safely…..all he could say as he got out of the water was ...thankyou ..thankyou...thankyou julia !!!!!!so thank you BOTH !!! LOL Julia
